The I2C/IIC Serial Interface Adapter Board is designed to simplify the connection of 1602 (16×2) LCD displays with microcontrollers like Arduino. Instead of using multiple data pins, this module converts parallel communication into I2C (serial) communication, reducing the number of required pins to just two (SDA & SCL).
